Come on down to the beautiful setting of Peak Hill Farm on Sunday 25th September for an autumn festival with a jam-packed programme for the whole family. Harvest Past promises to be a great day out with a range of activities, demonstrations and attractions to entertain while celebrating our farming heritage – and all in support of the Long Shop Museum in Leiston!

Take stock of engines and vehicles galore including vintage cars and motorbikes, small and classic engines, jeeps along with a slow tractor race and a best tractor competition! Also on site will be the museum’s unique and marvellous Living Van as well as the LWR (Leiston Works Railway).

A variety of animals will be present including a South Devon calf and cow, goats, alpacas and donkeys not to mention a sheepdog demonstration, Suffolk Punches, shire horses as well as a horse and cart and a pony and trap.

To turn up the heat, some steam engines will be sizzling when they are converted to ovens to cook a great range of delicious burgers, steaks and more. You can also enjoy fresh baked goods, tea and cake in oodles (as well as some lovely local produce to take home), and cooling ice creams to freshen the palette. With a host of traditional games and activities for children, and last but not least, live music from local performers to help the afternoon go with a swing, it promises to be a lovely occasion for those of all ages.
